Class Schedule

Our next and final meeting of 2014 is Tuesday, December 9, 7:00pm, at Hidden Cypress.  As is our custom, December is a showcase of all the year's first-place winners for each of the four skill levels plus the Abstract Category.  All members in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photos in each category, then for the best overall, for the People's Choice Awards.  Eligible participants have been notified by e-mail and should e-mail their winning image files to Bob Kampwirth as was done originally.

Classes for January-March are being developed; anyone who like to see a particular class offered, or willing to teach a class may contact the Education Director, Jeannine Rowe, or the incoming director, Charles Finn.

NEW MEMBERS WELCOME: Join the PCSCHH or renew for 2015 online.  The cost is $20 for the first member and $10 for the second member of the same household. Or, download and print the paper application and bring it to a meeting.

NEW SERVICE: Click here for the procedure to request assistance in printing large-format photos in the studio.

"Fossel" by Burt Ensman won the Abstract Category in the November competition.

Members: Has your e-mail address changed?  If the Club doesn't have your current address, you'll miss out on e-mail updates, the President's messages and other timely notices.  Send an e-mail to Tom Lehrer to update your information.

Be sure to visit our exhibit in the Bluffton Library; it will be on display until January 3 - and thank Jim Wilson and the volunteer "hangers" who made it all possible.

And also stop by the Studio to view the current exhibit, "Inspired."  We have hung 17 photos on the Gallery Wall ranging from ingenious to whimsical.  On the Fieldtrip Wall there are seven photos that will motivate & energize us to go, visit and photograph the beautiful wonders of our local surroundings.  Last but certainly not least, we have hung five of our Club Membersí award winning photographs from the Beaufort Calendar 2015 Contest.  When you want to be motivated to enter the next exhibit, come take a look at all of these inspirited and exhilarating photographs.  A special thank you to all 23 of our Photography Club Members that so graciously contributed their works of art to this exhibit, "Inspired."  Click here for more photos.

Click here to view John Burrack's Shutterfly page featuring terrific photos from the Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden.  This is a Sun City attraction well worth visiting.

Below: It was a busy day at the Club Fair October 11.  Many thanks to the PCSCHH volunteers who worked our table in Pinckney Hall and at the Studio to welcome visitors.  Thanks to their efforts, we added 53 new members.  Welcome, y'all!
