STUDIO EXHIBIT GUIDELINES
The Studio Exhibit Committee is responsible for planning, promoting, acquiring and maintaining a rotating exhibit of photographs provided by club members for a period of time, generally three months. We welcome photographs from members at each level: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced & Expert. Members are encouraged to provide their favorite photos, including but not limited to those previously displayed in external exhibits, Double Vision and monthly competitions (do NOT have to have won a ribbon). Why not hang it proudly in The Studio!!
SUBMITTED PHOTOS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
ALL PHOTOGRAPHS ARE TO BE IN A BLACK FRAME OR A GALLERY WRAP. IF THE PHOTO IS MATTED, THE MAT MUST BE EITHER BLACK OR WHITE.
FRAMES OR GALLERY WRAPS MUST INCLUDE A WIRE HANGER; PLEASE NOTE: THE WIRE MUST BE ATTACHED 1/3 THE WAY DOWN FROM THE TOP OF THE FRAME.
ALL PHOTOGRAPHS MUST BE AT LEAST 8 x 10 & FRAMED TO 11 x 14 OR 16 x 20 (no larger please). Only one (1) photo per member for the Galley Wall, AND one (1) photo per member from the Black & White Interest Group for the Black & White Wall OR one (1) from the Phone Special Interest Group.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO PRINT YOUR PHOTOGRAPH AT THE STUDIO, PLEASE CHECK THE STUDIO CALENDAR FOR STUDIO AVAILABILITY BEFORE GOING TO THE STUDIO.
Those wishing to submit a photograph for an announced exhibit, please reply to the email announcement and include the following label information:
1. Your name
2. The title of your photograph
3. Your telephone number
4. The price if you are interest in selling your photo (if you are not interested in selling, list as: NFS). Please note that all sales will be handled by the photographer and will not pass thru the Photo Club treasurer.
5. You will receive an e-mail to verify that your photo information has been received. If you do not receive a verification e-mail, please resubmit the information.
